Christian Siriano Bio fashion designer

Christian Siriano is 23 years old now. He was born November 18, 1985. Christian Siriano is an American fashion designer and the winner of the fourth season of American reality show Project Runway. Siriano is the show's youngest winner.

Siriano has tattoos of a squid and an octopus on his right arm that he has said are "a tribute to Maryland and the sea life". However, Siriano later contradicted this statement by saying that his tattoos "mean nothing... Totally random. And yes, it's permanent, but I'm young. In twenty years, there's totally going to be ways to remove it." Siriano is openly gay and dating musician Brad Walsh. He is engaged to Walsh, according to reports. During the finale of Siriano's season of Runway, show mentor Tim Gunn visited Siriano in a small East Village apartment where he lived, worked and slept in one room. In June 2008, The New York Sun reported that Siriano lives in a 1,400 square foot loft in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

In April 2008, Siriano signed on to design a fifteen piece collection for Puma. In May 2008, Siriano designed virtual promwear for Gaia Online's virtual prom. He appeared on Total Request Live to promote the event. As part of his prize for winning Project Runway, Siriano's first collection for Bluefly began retailing on the website in July 2008. Siriano debuted the spring collection for his first line, Christian V. Siriano, at New York Fashion Week on September 11th, 2008, sponsored by Cibu International Haircare Products, which is Bubbles Salons product line where he started his costuming career.
Siriano began to receive pop culture attention during his time on Runway, primarily for his asymmetrical upswept hair-do, which Siriano called a "bi-level fashion hawk" during a March 2008 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and his flamboyant attitude. Several of Siriano's catchphrases, such as "fierce," "ferosh," and "hot tranny mess", were parodied in the media by multiple blogs and television shows like Saturday Night Live. In March 2008, Siriano appeared as a celebrity guest on an episode of Bravo's Make Me A Supermodel, where he critiqued the contestants' catwalks and designed an outfit for one of the contestants, Holly Kiser, to model on the runway. Kiser went on to win the competetition. On May 1, 2008, Siriano appeared as himself on an episode of Ugly Betty, and designed some of the cast's costumes. In June 2008, Siriano appeared in the music video for hip-hop artist Estelle's single "No Substitute Love."
Christian is "fierce"

Siriano was born in Columbia, Maryland to Joye and Peter Siriano. Along with his older sister, a former ballet dancer, Siriano was raised in Annapolis, Maryland. He is of Italian and German descent. Siriano's parents divorced when he was four years old, though he has said his father is still a part of his life.
Siriano has said that his parents supported the arts and encouraged their children to pursue creative fields. As a child, Siriano studied ballet, and on a March 2008 Ellen appearance, he described himself as a "musical theater kid who loved costumes". Siriano's interest in costume design inspired him to pursue a career in fashion. He began designing clothes at age thirteen, while working as a hair washer and styling assistant at Bubbles Salon in Annapolis, and eventually began sewing clothes for the salon's annual hair shows. Siriano attended high school at the Baltimore School for the Arts. The school allowed Siriano to choose fashion design as his course of study, despite the fact that they do not offer it.
After being rejected by the Fashion Institute of Technology, Siriano chose to study abroad at American InterContinental University in London, England. Following the recommendation of a teacher during his senior year, he began interning at Vivienne Westwood, and later, at Alexander McQueen, whom Siriano has stated is his favorite designer. Siriano moved to New York City after graduating from college.

One of her friends stated that Korshunova had just returned from a modeling gig in Paris, noting that she seemed to be "on top of the world" with no apparent reason why she would commit suicide. Korshunova's former boyfriend, Artem Perchenok, said he dropped Korshunova off at her apartment several hours before her death after they watched the Bruce Willis film Ghost together. "She was a good person," he told The New York Post. However, she appeared brokenhearted and angry in some of her postings on a social networking site. Korshunova's most telling message came three months ago: "I'm so lost. Will I ever find myself?"

Ruslana Korshunova was born in Almaty, Kazakh SSR, and was of Russian descent. She spoke fluent Russian, English and German. She was discovered in 2003, when All Asia magazine printed a story on Almaty's local German language club, which Korshunova was then attending. French fashion designer died Yves Saint Laurent biography

Yves Henri Donat Mathieu Saint Laurent (aged 71)
was born August 1, 1936 and died June 1, 2008.

He was a French pied noir fashion designer, and was considered among the greatest of the 20th century. In 1985, in his book, Couture: The Great Fashion Designers, Caroline Rennolds Milbank wrote, "The most consistently celebrated and influential designer of the past twenty-five years, Yves Saint Laurent can be credited with both spurring the couture's rise from its Sixties ashes and with finally rendering ready-to-wear reputable".The son of an insurance company president, Yves Saint Laurent was born on August 1, 1936 in Oran, in what was then French Algeria. Saint Laurent left home at the age of 17 to work for the French designer Christian Dior. Following Dior's death in 1957, Yves, at the age of 22, was put in charge of the effort of saving the Dior house from financial ruin. Shortly after this success, he was conscripted to serve in the French army during the Algerian War of Independence. After 20 days, the stress of being hazed by fellow soldiers, led the fragile Saint Laurent to be institutionalized in a French mental hospital, where he underwent psychiatric treatment, including electroshock therapy, for a nervous breakdown.
In 1962, in the wake of his nervous breakdown, Saint Laurent was released from Dior and started his own label, YSL, financed by his companion, Pierre Bergé. The couple split romantically in 1976 but remained business partners. During the 1960s and 1970s, the firm popularized fashion trends such as the beatnik look, safari jackets for men and women, tight pants and tall, thigh-high boots, including the creation of arguably the most famous classic tuxedo suit for women in 1966, Le Smoking suit. He also started mainstreaming the idea of wearing silhouettes from the 1920s, '30s and '40s. He was the first, in 1966, to popularize ready-to-wear in an attempt to democratize fashion, with Rive Gauche and the boutique of the same name. He was also the first designer to use black models in his runway shows. Among his muses were Loulou de la Falaise, the daughter of a French marquis and an Anglo-Irish fashion model; Betty Catroux, the half-Brazilian daughter of an American diplomat and wife of a French decorator; Talitha Pol-Getty, who died of drug overdose in 1971; Catherine Deneuve, the iconic French actress; and the Guinean-born Senegalese supermodel Katoucha Niane, the daughter of writer Djibril Tamsir Niane. Ambassador to the couturier during the late 1970s and early 80s was London socialite millionairess Diane Boulting-Casserley Vandelli, making the brand ever more popular amongst the European jet-set and upper classes.

In 1983, he became the first living fashion designer to be honored by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 2001, he was awarded the rank of Commander of the Légion d'Honneur by French president Jacques Chirac. Saint Laurent retired in 2002 and became increasingly reclusive. From then until his death he spent much of his time at his house in Marrakech, Morocco.
He also created a foundation with Pierre Bergé in Paris to trace the history of the house of YSL, complete with 15,000 objects and 5,000 pieces of clothing.
He died on June 1, 2008, at home in Paris after a year-long fight against brain cancer.

Yamaguchi was a local commentator on figure skating for San Francisco-area TV station KNTV during the 2006 Winter Olympics.
On May 20, 2008, Yamaguchi became the celebrity champion in the sixth season of Dancing with the Stars with pro dance partner Mark Ballas, defeating finalist couple Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska. The judges commented that she was the most consistent competitor of all the dancers in every season and according to the host of the show, she had the highest scores of any competitor in the show's history.
Yamaguchi is the 2008 season winner on ABC is reality program Dancing with the Stars 6th season paired with Mark Ballas. In the first three weeks, they received scores of 9, 9, and 9 for a total of 27 for their Foxtrot, Mambo and Tango. This was the highest first and third week score in the show's history.
During the fourth week, she received 10, 9, and 10 to have a total of 29, and the fifth week she received 9, 10, and 10 of having another total of 29 on the Paso Doble & Rumba. On her April 21 performance she received a perfect 30 score from the judges for her Jive. This makes her holding the 1st place spot for 6 weeks in a row, which is a new record on the show. During the seventh week, she didn't come in first. She received a 26 out of 30 for her Viennese Waltz which the judges gave her 9, 8, and 9 which gives her first 8 ever given, and her Cha-Cha-Cha was a 28 out of 30. The judges gave her 10, 8, and 10. Yamaguchi ended up with a fifty-four out of sixty which put her in second, her first time not being first on the judge's leaderboard. On the eighth week of competition, they received a 29 out of 30 as the judges scored 9, 10, and 10 for their quickstep and 26 out of 30 for their sassy samba with the judges scored them for 8,9, and 9. On the tenth week of the competition (finals), she received the highest score once again, breaking the tie with Mario Lopez for the most times a celebrity placed first place. On her "Mambo and Hip Hop" mesh Freestyle to Michael Jackson's Working Day and Night, the judges gave her a perfect 30, her first since her Jive in Week 6. And on her Cha-Cha, she received another 30. She received all but one of the perfect 30s awarded in that season (Jason Taylor's finale dance being the other). The Cha-Cha was danced back-to-back for the finals.
Kristi Yamaguchi received the Inspiration Award at the 2008 Asian Excellence Awards. Two days after her Dancing with the Stars champion crowning, she received the 2008 Sonja Henie Award from the Professional Skaters Association. Among her others awards are the Thurman Munson Award, Women's Sports Foundation Flo Hyman Award, and the Great Sports Legends Awards. She is also a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee Olympic Hall of Fame, World Skating Hall of Fame, and the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
Mark Alexander Corky Ballas (age 21) was born May 24, 1986 in Houston, Texas. He is a professional ballroom dancer on the ABC program Dancing with the Stars. At a young age he moved to London, England, where he began his performing career. His parents are Corky Ballas and Shirley Ballas.
On the 5th season of Dancing With The Stars, Ballas was paired up with Cheetah Girls star Sabrina Bryan. On October 30, 2007, the pair was voted off the show. The announcement was met with shock from the judges and the live audience. An AOL poll voted their elimination "2007's most shocking TV moment." The next week, the remaining dancers and celebrities showed their continued support and affection for Bryan by donning her signature cheetah paw-print tattoo. For the second-to-last week, Bryan and Ballas were invited back to the show to perform, another first for any couple.
After weeks of speculation among the fans and entertainment news of a budding romance between him and his DWTS partner, just a week after they were taken off the show on November 5, 2007, Sabrina Bryan, in an interview with TV Guide, admitted that she and Ballas are dating. Ballas was incorrectly quoted by UsWeekly saying she was "too busy for him", however he retracted his statement on his myspace saying he was taken "completely out of context". Later, the magazine edited the article to include that he retracted his statement.
It was announced, Ballas' partner for Season 6 of Dancing with the Stars is Olympic Gold Medal winning figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi. In the first week, Kristi and Mark received a 27 out of 30 for their foxtrot, the highest score to be received on the first week in the entire series. Together, they continued to top the leaderboard for 6 weeks straight, a new record on DWTS. However, they came in 2nd in the 7th and 8th week of competition, ending their streak. Kristi and Mark were top of the leaderboard for 8 of the 10 weeks of competition, a new DWTS record. They also mantained the highest average as of Week 10 with a 28.3 average including a perfect 90/90 score for the finale, both DWTS records. Kristi and Mark's lowest score, a 26, was also the highest "low" score ever for any contestant throughout the seasons. On May 20, 2008 Ballas and Yamaguchi won the 2008 Season of Dancing with the Stars. According to the judges, they had set the standard for the entire season and were the most consistent couple not only in Season 6, but in all the seasons of DWTS. Kristi and Mark have commented that they would like to perform on the winter DWTS tour if asked.

where to find bitten sarah jessica parker clothing line

Sarah Jessica Parker (age 43) was born March 25, 1965 in Nelsonville, Ohio, USA. She is an American actress and producer, with a portfolio of television, film and theater performances. She is best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw, a newspaper journalist, on the HBO television series Sex and the City, for which she won four Golden Globe Awards, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Emmy Awards.
Parker has become very influential in the world of fashion. In 2000, she hosted the MTV Movie Awards and appeared in no fewer than 15 different costumes throughout the show.

She has also become the face of many of the world's biggest fashion brands through her work in a variety of advertising campaigns. In August 2003, Parker signed a highly lucrative deal with Garnier to appear in television and print advertising promoting their Nutrisse hair products. In 2004, she fronted an international campaign by Gap, but her contract with the clothing giant was abruptly terminated in spring 2005 in favor of British soul singer Joss Stone. A friend of Parker's commented to the press that, "Sarah's spring campaign for Gap has only just started, and she feels the announcement of her replacement in the same week that the new ads are appearing is a bit of a snub". In addition to her advertising work, Parker released her own fragrance in 2005 called "Lovely". In March 2007, Parker announced the launch of her own fashion line, Bitten, in partnership with discount clothing chain Steve & Barry's. The line, which features hundreds of clothing items and accessories under $20, launched on June 7, 2007, exclusively at Steve and Barry's. In July 2007, following the enormous success of "Lovely," Parker released her second fragrance "Covet."

As her career continued to blossom into the 1990s, she met journalist John Kennedy Jr. and dated him for several months. Prior to this, Parker had a serious relationship with Robert Downey Jr. She was also romantically linked to singer-songwriter Joshua Kadison in the early 1990s, who described their tumultuous relationship and their cat Moses in the song "Jessie" on the album Painted Desert Serenade.
On May 19, 1997, she married actor Matthew Broderick, to whom she was introduced by her brother. The couple married in a civil ceremony in a historic synagogue on the Lower East Side of Manhattan that is no longer used as a house of worship; both Parker and Broderick (who each have one Jewish parent) consider themselves to be "culturally Jewish." Parker has also defended the state of Israel. "I feel defensive when people say, 'How can Israel go in with tanks?', she says, "What are they supposed to do? Children are being killed by people willing to strap bombs to their bodies and walk into the public market. So Israel's response to this is to protect its people." The couple's first child, son James Wilkie Broderick, was born on October 28, 2002. He was named after Broderick's father, the distinguished Irish-American actor James Broderick. His middle name is that of author Wilkie Collins, an author Broderick and Parker greatly admire.

Given her public declarations of support for public schools, school choice advocates are anxious to see if Parker makes good on her 2004 promise to enter James Wilke into the New York City public school system when he turns five in 2007. Parker and Broderick live in New York City and frequent the arts. Parker and Broderick also spend a considerable amount of time at their holiday home in County Donegal, Republic of Ireland where Broderick spent his summers as a child. Parker is a prominent member of the Hollywood's Women's Political Committee and is UNICEF's Representative for the Performing Arts; in 2006, she traveled to Liberia as a UNICEF celebrity ambassador, and has commented that, "It's a place that gets little or no attention, so we're going to try and bring some attention to it." She is currently a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the United States.
As of 2008, she lives in New York City with her husband and son. All are left-handed.

arrested Naomi Campbell hot biography filmography

On April 3, 2008 Campbell was arrested at Heathrow's Terminal 5 . A police statement suggests the model was held on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Naomi Campbell (age 37) was born May 22, 1970 in Streatham, London,
England. She is a British supermodel.
In 1999, Campbell developed a spin-off company, the Design House of Naomi Campbell. So far Campbell has created seven fragrances for women, most of which were released in Europe. In 2000, Campbell introduced her first perfumes, Naomi Campbell and Naomagic, a portmanteau of Campbell's name and the word "magic". In 2001, Campbell introduced her third perfume, Cat Deluxe, and in 2003 released Mystery. A year later a fifth fragrance was made, Sunset, and in 2005 another fragrance was released, Paradise Passion. Campbell's latest fragrance is a new version of her Cat Deluxe perfume called Cat Deluxe At Night.

Since 1997, Campbell has been involved in charity work mainly focused on the children and people of Sub-Saharan Africa. She has worked with Nelson Mandela, and has said that one of her greatest joys in life is knowing Mandela, stating that his kindness, passion and intelligence make him a modern world leader. In 2005, she helped create and participated in Fashion Relief, raising over a million dollars for Hurricane Katrina victims. On July 7, 2007 she hosted the South African leg of Live Earth in Johannesburg.

Campbell has several adopted father figures, including Quincy Jones and Chris Blackwell, and an adopted grandfather, Nelson Mandela.

On February 26, 2008, Campbell was hospitalized in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she underwent abdominal surgery. Campbell was released from the hospital three days later.
On January 16, 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless assault against her maid Ana Scolavino. She was sentenced to five days community service and ordered to attend two days of an anger management course. In addition, she was ordered to pay medical bills of $363 to Scolavino who required four stitches after the incident. According to a report on CNN, Campbell blames "her temper on lingering resentment toward her father for abandoning her as a child". On March 19, 2007, Campbell began mopping floors at New York's Sanitation Department for her service.
On August 20, 2007, New York Supreme Court Judge Michael Stallman issued a decision and order denying Campbell's legal attempt to exclude Gaby Gibson's references from her history of well-publicized, allegedly "chronic abusive and repeatedly violent conduct toward her employees." Judge Stallman reasoned that "if proven, the reports of Campbell's conduct" might result in proving that it was so "wanton or outrageous" to justify the punitive damages sought by Campbell's ex-housekeeper.

Hot Danica Patrick sports illustrated swimsuit

Danica Sue Patrick was born March 25, 1982 in Beloit, Wisconsin. She is age 26 auto racing driver competing in the IndyCar Series. She is from an Irish-American family and was raised in Roscoe, Illinois. Patrick was named the Rookie of the Year for both the 2005 Indianapolis 500 and the 2005 IndyCar Series season. In May 2006, she published her autobiography, Danica: Crossing the Line.

On February 3, 2008, Patrick appeared in a Go Daddy Inc. commercial advertised at the Super Bowl, but was only shown on godaddy.com. Patrick appears in the February 15, 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. She is featured in a 4-page photo spread .

Patricks's parents, T.J. and Bev Patrick, met on a blind date at a snowmobile event in the 1970s when Bev was a mechanic for a friend's snowmobile. T.J. raced snowmobiles, motocross, and midget cars. They have owned a Java Hut and a plate glass company. Currently, T.J. helps his daughter by driving her motor coach, and managing her Web site and merchandise trailer. Bev handles the ins and outs of her business needs. Patrick is married to Paul Edward Hospenthal, who had previously been her physical therapist.
Recently she was voted sexiest athlete in Victoria's Secret "What is Sexy" list. Patrick also was voted 42 in 2006 and 85 in 2007 in FHM's 100 sexiest women in the world. On the February 23, 2007 episode of the MTV2 Series of Celebrity Deathmatch Patrick was portrayed in animated clay form fighting Anna Kournikova. Patrick was voiced by Laura Napoli. On the August 23, 2007 episode of Diggnation, hosts Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose shot live at the Infineon Raceway, where they were treated to a lap around the track in an IndyCar driven by Patrick. Over the next several weeks, Rose repeatedly made reference to the fact that he was very attracted to Patrick. Patrick is represented by The Endeavor Talent Agency. On July 25, 2006, Patrick announced she had signed a deal to drive for Andretti Green Racing, replacing Bryan Herta in the number 7 Dallara Honda car beginning in 2007. Patrick's car is sponsored by Motorola, XM radio and Go Daddy. In Patrick's first race with Andretti Green Racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 24th she finished 14th after crashing into the pit wall on lap 154 and being knocked out of the race. Following Homestead, she finished 8th at St. Petersburg and 11th at Japan. At Kansas she had her best finish of the year at that point, finishing 7th. In April 2007, Patrick launched her official fan club The Danica Maniacs to help foster greater interaction between her and her fans. Benefits include a "Pit Kit," contests and giveaways, sponsor discounts and promotions, and a members-only web site loaded with features. Patrick ended up starting and finishing eighth in the 91st running of the 2007 Indianapolis 500. She ran as high as 2nd to Tony Kanaan after the rain delay. She had to pit after the rain delay, which dropped her back in the field. Patrick was working her way back to the front until the race was ended under the caution caused by Marco Andretti's accident due to the subsequent rain on lap 166. At the Milwaukee Mile, Patrick started second to last but moved up quickly to 5th before contact with Dan Wheldon. Patrick managed to save the car from hitting anything but the wreck caused aerodynamic damage. She used a timely caution to get back on the lead lap and finish 8th. After the race she and Wheldon had a heated exchange after she tried to confront him about the wreck.
Following the incident at Milwaukee, Patrick rebounded with a career night at Texas in the Bombardier Learjet 550. She ran with the lead pack throughout the entire race and led her first two laps since her rookie season before finishing third, her first top-three finish at the time and less than a second behind eventual winner Sam Hornish, Jr. Her good fortune would only be temporary as she was involved in one of the several crashes at Iowa to finish 13th. She would however rebound at Richmond to run in the top 10 all night before finishing 6th. She followed that up with an 11th place finish at Watkins Glen before running in the top 5 all day and finishing 3rd at Nashville. At Mid-Ohio she finished 5th (her best career road course finish) despite being involved in a lap 1 accident that sent her into the grass briefly.
Patrick continued to have bad luck at Michigan International Speedway as previous years have seen Patrick retire from the race early due to fuel and other troubles. At the 2007 running, a flat tire in the late portion of the race forced Patrick to pit and dropped her to a 7th place finish. Her terrible luck would continue at Kentucky as she ran in the lead group all night and appeared headed towards another podium finish when she spun out exiting pit road with less than 50 laps to go. After restarting from that spin, a rear tire on Patrick's car blew leading to a crash and forcing her to retire from the race.
Her luck would get a little better at Infineon as she ran in the top 10 and finished 6th. However a series of slow pit stops kept her from what could have been an even better finish. At Belle Isle, Patrick started 11th and was involved in two accidents from which she was able to restart without damage, eventually driving to the front and leading 9 laps of the race before falling back after having to pit. On the final lap, while Patrick was running in 5th, Buddy Rice, Scott Dixon and teammate Dario Franchitti were involved in an accident immediately in front of her. Patrick was able to avoid the wreck and finish in second place, a career-high in the IndyCar Series and tying her with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing driver Sarah Fisher for best finish in Indy Style racing by a female.
At the season finale in Chicagoland Speedway, Patrick ran most of the race in in the top 6, but had to make a pit stop for fuel with 7 laps to go. When entering pit lane, Patrick spun-out but avoided damage to her car. With assistance from her pit crew, Patrick was able to refire the engine, make a complete pit stop and reenter the race, finishing 11th overall. For the 2007 season as a whole, Patrick scored her first three career podium finishes to finish with 4 top 5's and 11 top 10's while leading 17 laps on the season. She also scored her career best championship points finish of 7th with 424 points.

Currently Lima is dating Serbian basketball player Marko Jaric of the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves.

Lima is fluent in three languages—Portuguese, Spanish and English. In her free time, she loves reading a novel by her favorite author, Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Lima has admitted that she was shy around boys when she was younger, not receiving her first kiss until she was 17 years old. In an interview with GQ April 2006 issue, Lima told the magazine that she is a devoted Catholic who attends church every Sunday and is a virgin. "Sex is for after marriage," she explained. "They have to respect that this is my choice. If there's no respect, that means they don't want me." US GQ dubbed her as "The World's Most Voluptuous Virgin."
Lima has denied reports that she was ever engaged to rocker Lenny Kravitz and insists that she and Kravitz have always just been friends. She has also been romantically linked to other celebrities in the past, including New York Yankees superstar Derek Jeter, Prince Wenzeslaus of Liechtenstein, and Denny of Timbalada.

Adriana Francesca Lima was born June 12 1981. She is a Brazilian supermodel. Lima is best known for her modeling work with Victoria's Secret and Maybelline.
Lima was discovered while shopping at a local mall at the age of 13. At the age of 15, she entered and finished in first place in Brazil's Ford Supermodel of the World Search. She subsequently entered the 1996 Ford Supermodel of the World contest and finished second place. Three years later, she moved to New York City, and signed with Elite Model Management. Lima’s modeling portfolio began to expand exponentially, appearing in numerous international editions of Vogue and Marie Claire. As for fashion shows, she has walked the catwalks for big-name designers such as Vera Wang, Christian Lacroix, Emanuel Ungaro, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Ralph Lauren, Valentino, among others. Lima continued to build upon her entry, doing more print work for Maybelline, bebe, Mossimo, BCBG and gracing the cover and editorials of more high fashion magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, Vogue, GQ, to name a few. Her April 2006 GQ cover was the highest-selling issue of the year. Her other notable works include the Pirelli Calendar 2005 and the face of Italy’s big cell phone carrier Telecom Italia Mobile, where she became known as the "Catherine Zeta-Jones of Italy."
Lima is probably best known for her work with Victoria's Secret. She first graced the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 1999 and has appeared on subsequent shows ever since. Her most notable walk down the runway was in 2003, where she was the show opener. Lima had appeared on several television ads for the brand but her most memorable one, was appearing alongside the legendary rock musician Bob Dylan in 2003 Victoria's Secret Angel in Venice commercial which received both praise and criticism.
